This handcrafted saya features an Ao Nashiji-nuri (青梨子地塗) finish—a blue-green lacquer base sprinkled with fine nashiji powder. The surface sparkles brilliantly under light, with countless reflective particles creating a vibrant, jewel-like shimmer. The overall effect is luminous, modern, yet deeply rooted in traditional lacquer artistry, making the saya both visually striking and refined.

The koiguchi (mouth), kurigata (cord knob), and kojiri (end cap) are made from polished natural horn, ensuring durability and organic beauty. Each saya is individually handmade, ensuring precise proportions, visual harmony, and lasting durability.
