This handcrafted saya features a traditional Shu-nuri (朱塗) finish—a vivid red lacquer polished to a mirror-like gloss. The surface is bold and luminous, reflecting light with a smooth brilliance that enhances the saya’s elegant form. The color evokes both classical refinement and striking presence, making it one of the most iconic lacquer styles in Japanese sword mounts.

The koiguchi (mouth), kurigata (cord knob), and kojiri (end cap) are crafted from polished natural horn, ensuring structural durability and organic beauty. Each saya is individually handmade, guaranteeing precise proportions, visual harmony, and lasting durability.
