Handcrafted Kin-ao Nashiji Lacquered Saya with Natural Horn Fittings｜Koshirae-Grade Finish

This handcrafted saya features a Kin-ao Nashiji-nuri (金青梨子地塗) finish—an elaborate two-tone nashiji lacquer style. The central band is decorated with rich golden nashiji powder, while the sides are finished with shimmering blue-green nashiji, creating a striking visual contrast. The interplay of gold and iridescent hues gives the surface a vivid brilliance that shifts with light, blending classical refinement with modern artistry.

The koiguchi (mouth), kurigata (cord knob), and kojiri (end cap) are crafted from polished natural horn, ensuring both structural durability and organic beauty. Each saya is individually handmade, guaranteeing precision, visual harmony, and lasting durability.
